Our History
We have been building luxury homes in Austin, TX since 2013
Coming from a humble background, our owner Bryan Murphy started working in high-end custom construction in 2001. His moment to shine knocked on his doorstep when he got an opportunity to work for a very high-end custom home builder. His first project was a 10 million dollar custom home for an elite customer who hired them to build a museum for his art collection. From then, Bryan has completed projects in Pemberton, Tarrytown, Westlake, Rob Roy, Barton Creek, Lakeway, Hyde Park, Travis Heights, Barton Hills, Brykerwoods, and East Austin. In 2013, he founded Bryan Murphy Builder. Initially, we were building spec homes and later expanded our footprints to high-end and large square projects. Under Bryan’s leadership, we have also worked on many restoration and green building projects. We have experience working with high-end materials and collaborating with several designers and architects in our area. Mission
My mission is to bring the dream vision of your luxury home to a living reality. My focus is on luxury, quality, and attention to detail in the craftsmanship I provide. I work hand-in-hand with my clients by utilizing my extensive contacts in the residential construction design community to help coordinate a plan. Then, working closely with a select group of Austin’s most detail-oriented luxury subcontractors, we don’t stop until your vision is realized and you are living your most comfortable life. Our Process
- Meet the Client – This is when the client gets to share their vision and idea of a luxury dream home. We view your land, and you give us the details we will need for a comprehensive design to hit all the items on your “wish list.” We then select an architect from our list to fit your needs.
- Design – Creation of construction documents. You get to see your vision begin to come to life utilizing CAD architectural designs. We work together to make sure everything is perfect before the building process begins.
- Contract & Permitting – I propose a budget based on the architectural and structural documents we prepare, and then I obtain building permits. At this point, you are relying on me and my extensive knowledge as a home builder to acquire all required building permits.
- 4 Phases of Construction –
1. Concrete/frame is the most exciting phase when the foundation is poured and the house is framed.
2. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing & amp; insulation is when the neuro-system of the house is installed.
3. Wallboard and trim are another really exciting time in construction when the aesthetics of the house are installed, and the client can really “feel” the space.
4. Landscape and punch is the final stage of the project when the house is completed, and your dream is now real. - The Walk – This is when I walk the house with a client to explain the project and provide the keys to their new luxury dream home.
